Women's Drum Day

I serve as sound healer with my singing bowls, bells and gongs.

Bells of Joy
© Joy Krauthammer
A fave because I inherited these Asian bells from my mother, z'l, who died too young from C.
I play them in Sounds of Joy for healing and meditation.

Tibetan Singing Bowls of Joy
A fave because I get to play these bowls with many spiritual groups for healing and meditation.

Joy Krauthammer and the Dardashti family musicians
This was my first gig as percussionst, 1985.
Less than a year later I began drum set lessons, same year I began my MBA.
A few years earlier I made band music birthday parties for my young daughter.
That's Aviva in front of me.
Didn't realize I was a closet percussionist.
Interestingly that since 2000 I accompany a best friend of Sheila Dardashti, Cindy Paley. Now 2017.
Galeet Dardashti, one of the daughters, is now a famous Persian singer.

Timbrel of Miriyahm
Shmot Beshalach 15:20
“And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aharon, took the tambourine in her hand; and all the women went out after her with tambourines, dancing.”
